The Turning Of The Screws....

Me
PO BOX 636
Pit Street
Banstead
Surrey
SM7 3PH

 Dear You,

Do you remember when he called me from my cell and then he smiled to himself?
Then smiled to himself, as he held me, infront of the awaiting crowd?
held me, infront of the awaiting crowd and yelled welcome to Hell?
Hell, with the Smugglers, Murderers, Molesters and the words Self-Proclaimed Hustlers
The words Self-Proclaimed Hustlers, was obviously and indefinably self proclaimed
             Well ain't that a shame
I've thought to myself if only he knew, I've thought to myself maybe he was new
Maybe he was new in the game, maybe he was new in the game to make a name
Maybe he was new in game, to make a name, do you know what I’m saying?
You must know what I’m saying?
Well if that was seriously true, I can't stay mad at him or you
I can't stay mad at him or you, as i've thought to myself he’s just a cog, in the system
So hey, just between me and you
So hey, just between me and you, I don’t think he’s actually to blame,
I've thought in time he will understand, I've thought with a little more time maybe in time he will overstand
I've thought with a more time maybe in time he will overstand, what it is to be wog, in the system
You know I felt his hands on my back applying the pressure
While he spoke, an fully excercised his strenuous supply of shit jokes,
In front of the awaiting eyes, In front of the awaiting lives
Using sarcasm and hand gestures at his leisure
At leisure as he inverted his own jokes with his own supply of inverted commas
You know I smiled
You know I smiled as he smiled
You know  he added, yeah we also got couple of armed robbers
You know I gave a shake of the head, I took a breath, put everything in retrospect
Put everything in retrospect, then thought what the heck
You know then, I smiled and said, in my best English accent
Said in my best English accent, why how pleasant
You know his eyes cried for respect, he took a breath, then grimaced, making his face look like death,
You know then, he smiled and said
And said, in his best English accent, I am a King
And said, I am King among you fucking peasants
Onto you, yes it is you
And you were the one
And you were the one whom said Son you look like one
You look like one
You look like one who sticks to his guns
But if only you would talk to us were offering you a free shot
A free shot at some nickels maybe, gold maybe
And if you’re lucky will throw in a couple of crooked coppers
You sat me down in my seat, told to me speak, but I honestly felt weak
I tried to confide in you, as you tried to confide in me
But after a while,
After a while, you know I smiled, then honestly thought for a while
Thought for while, then said fuck you, and fuck him,
Then you looked at me
So I looked at you, you had my attention in full view
So I said fuck yourselves and added
And added one of you is a fucker and the other
And the other an asshole,
Which basically, figuratively, speaking means
Means, I know one of you for the other spreads your cheeks,
I looked at you, you looked at me
I apologised through my eyes about the use of my lets say quite volatile vocabulary
Please believe, to you, I tried make countless apologies
You know then the fucker slapped the shit out me, slapped me out my seat, made me feel week
Literally, and figuratively, he
He flipped the tables right up and on to me
So why didn’t you speak?
So why didn’t you speak publicly?
Why didn’t you stick up for me?
Was it something I said, was it my not so spectacular venacualared speech?
I putting the truth on table for all eyes to see
Truthfully, and literally, he made me feel week, he made my heart fall from faith, with a leap,
I refused to sell out on you, but truthfully, it felt like at times you sold out on me
I got it you didn’t owe me thing, but it seemed to me, you were only in it for the curren-cy
That pushed me to scream, that you and him will see
You and him will see, yeah you’ll see
You know that’s when he screamed, lock it up or I will make you scream
I saw you give a shake of the head, which I thought maybe, meant, come on please, just speak
You know thats when, the fucker came back for me and said, in his best English accent
In his best English accent, said, come again
You Knew I was one who stuck to his guns
So you know, frankly, I just had say it again
One of you is fucker and the other,
And the other, an asshole
Which basically, figuratively, speaking, means
Means, I know one of you for the other, spreads your cheeks
If I told you please believe, through my eyes, I tried to apologise, countless times
Tried to apologise, countless times, for the use of my obscenities
Countless times, for the use of my obscenities, as he
As he, lined me
As he, lined me, in reach
Lined me, in reach, then, again and again, after he turned again and again
He turned again and again, if you remember right to you my friend
To you my friend, then he preceded to slap and kick the shit out of me
He made me feel week, as I attempted to drift off to sleep,
I felt it
I felt it, I felt his hits, shift, then start to split
His hits, shift, then start to split, my shit, as they ripped, into my ribs
Truthfully I felt my ribs, twinge, as I definitely felt the ribs, and my heart split
Well you and I definitely know all the crowd knows it
Well you and I definitely know all the crowd definitely saw him throw it
You eyes told me I can’t help you because your one that’s choosing to hold it
Through my eyes I tried reply don’t worry about I can hold the hits but vendettas I can’t hold it
Don’t worry I can actually see the funny side to it now, but at the time, it was straight monotonous
P.S.

Dear My Dear Old Friend My Time In The Block Is Coming Shortly And Slowly To And End, Yeah Surprisingly Coming Shortly And Slowly To A Close, But Just Want To Let You Know, I Ain’t Trying To Make Foes, This Letter Is Not Personally Against You, I'm Just Trying to Tighten A Couple of Screws Which I Thought Were a Bit Loose, Also Just To Let You Know, When I Get Hit, I Always Catch, But I’m Just Not In Control, Of When Or What Or Where Back I Will Throw, Just Thought Its Best Your Kept In The Know,  Lastly Let Me Apologise Again, As You Were There And It Looked To Me Like Through The Use Of Your Eyes That You Cared, So I Apologise Again My Friend, But I Know If He Reads This He Might, Might Like Ask For Them To Increase My Sentence Again, So He Can Beat My Black Skin Blue And Shit Out Of Me Again....

Yours Sincerely, Me….

The Journey Continues...

I honestly feel I truly haven't written anything substantial over last couple months. This could be me being highly critical of myself as usual, but this gives reason to why there has been a lack of activity on the blog of late. At the minute I started to question the direction I hope to take with my writing, but I have not lost faith in my ability and also my passion to write. The journey that I have taken over the last year has been quite unforeseen, but nevertheless the journey continues...

The Never Ending Story...

It brings pain to me to see
Literally, it brings a pain to see
A pain through my brain
A pain through my veins
A pain to see there’s no opportunities
No opportunities for black youths in the communities
But they wonder why
Why black youths, skip class and commit truancy
They even wonder why
Why black youths, tote, boast and prompt,
Guns, whilst running around and advocating lunacy
They even wonder why there’s a decline,
In schools rates of literary and numeracy
 They fail to take responsibility
They fail to believe
 But they believe
Every black youth is probably illiterate before they begin to speak
You see their beliefs
Their beliefs are for all eyes to see
Their beliefs are probably new to you
Definitely their beliefs aren’t new to me
Their beliefs are old news out here on the streets
In time you will realize
Don’t worry
I’ll give you time to open your real eyes
To the fact that all they do is
Sit behind their desks, counting thier cheques, scratching their heads
Failing to acknowledge the rise in gang activity
Let me make a public address about the public unrest
Well dear who ever this may concern, what did you expect?
When you fail to provide black youths with positive avenues and activities
Truthfully sometimes
Sometimes I close my eyes and think to myself why do they marginalize?
Why do they marginalize a community in the papers?
Leave a community in the margins,
They simply disregard our titles and where were heading
Sometimes I can only wonder why
Because it’s a story in the streets that seems to be never ending

Rap Roll Call...

If I remember right
I remember one time
One time
I watched a performance one night
I remember as I applauded
As I applauded in my head I performed my own instalment
My instalment about the difference between poets and rappers
The difference between real lyrical lyricists and real lyrical actors
As I remember on the night the poet had the audacity
The audacity, to leave out Marshall
I remember I shook my head
As in my head I said let me audacious and say
And say in matter of fact Marshall, Matters
Marshall, Matters and so does
Pac, Nas, Snoop, Hill,
Eve, Mell, Flav, Gill
T.i, Luda, Fiddy, Kweli
Def, Flocka, Soulja, Stalley
Salt, Pepper, Wale, Yeezy
Joey, Jay, Free, Jeezy
Run, Common, Cam, Kelly
Lux, Solomon, Mook, Nelly,
Ness, Tech, Diddy, Busta,
Asap, Gambino, Wu, Bubba
Brown, Cole, Remy Game,
Big Boi, 3000, Dre, Mase
I dreaded it
I dreaded it but I even added Wanye
I dreaded it
I dreaded it but I even added Chains
I remember in my head I said
Poetry and rap are intermixed
Chained together like two slaves
Poetry and rap are interlinked
Every diss-track, Every E.P, Every mix-tape, Every album, Every internet leak
Matters
Its matters because in matter of fact
It’s actually poetry being carried on the back of the beat…

A Prophet's Block...

I’m
I’m going to
I’m going to build this
Build this story, brick by brick by brick
Brick by brick by brick by brick by brick by brick
Brick by brick by brick by brick by brick in the shape of a py ra mid
to ask  the question
What is
What is a Writer's block to a Prophet's bricks?
Lets begin;

Brick
The father,
The father gave the son,
brick, brick, sight to see, brick,
brick, sight to see something, brick, brick
brick, which others couldn’t see, brick, brick
brick, brick ,brick, then the father, brick, brick, brick
brick ,brick, equip the son with a stick, brick, brick
brick, brick, brick, to part the sea, brick, brick, brick, brick
brick, brick, brick, brick, to indeed, brick, brick, brick, brick
brick, brick, brick, brick, to lead the meek, brick, brick brick, brick
brick, brick, brick ,to a world of freedom of speech, brick, brick
brick, brick, brick, brick, ironically, brick, brick, brick, brick, brick
brick, brick, brick, it all started with a speech, brick, brick, brick, brick
brick, brick, brick, brick, brick, with the Pharaoh, brick, brick, brick, brick brick
It all started with a speech, with the Pharaoh, as the son began to plead, please let my people go,
brick, brick, brick, brick, brick, please let me people go Pharaoh, brick, brick, brick, brick, brick
brick, brick, brick, Pharaoh let my people go free, Pharaoh, let my people be at peace brick, brick,
brick, brick, brick, brick, Pharoah, let my people be at peace, brick, brick, brick, brick, brick,
brick ,brick, please, remove the chains, Pharaoh, from my people’s feet, brick, brick, brick, brick
Please, remove the chains, Pharaoh, from my people’s feet, Pharaoh, it took strength for him to say,
brick, brick, brick, it took even greater strength for him to say, as he, dropped to his knees, brick, brick
Farther, please, break these, bricks in front of, the eyes of my people, brick by brick, for they refuse to see

The Existentialist Lyricist...

Now everybody from the six sixteen
Put your motherfucking hands up and follow me
Everybody from the six sixteen put your motherfucking hands up
look, look,
I just have enough time
I just have enough time to keep it real
Just have enough time to keep it real so let me tell
So let me tell HueManny-T how I really really feel
Tell HueManny-T how I really really feel because the truth is
The truth is it truthfully seems to me like HueManny-T
Like HueManny-T has been popping pills
Been popping pills it seems to me
It seems to me HueManny-T
HueManny-T is afraid of whats really really real
HueManny-T is afraid of whats really really real within reality
Really really real within reality forreal
Forreal so let me keep it real with HueManny-T
HueManny-T as you were on the mic
As you were mic I stood silently questioning your sanity
I stood silently questioning your sanity as it seems to me HueManny-T
HueManny-T you been living in a fantasy
You been living a fantasy with new hope
A fantasy with new hope it seems to me HueManny-T
Its seems to me HueManny-T on the mic
On the mic you just cant cope
You just cant cope so truthfully
So truthfully I felt the need
I felt the need to pass you a dope rope
Pass you a dope rope and tell you to hang yourself
Tell you to hang yourself while I give the other guy
While I give the the other guy my lyrical rope a dope
My lyrical rope a dope while I take lyrical aim at your frame
Take lyrical aim at your frame and watch you go up in smoke
Watch you go up in smoke but don't worry HueManny- T
Don't worry HueManny-T as i've already prewritten your eulogy
Prewritten your eulogy and supplied it with jokes
supplied it with jokes just like how did HueManny-T
How did HueManny-T choke?
How did HueManny-T choke before I gave him the rope?
Before I gave him the rope did he finally?
Did he finally legally change his name from HueManny-T?
Change his name from HueManny-T for the greater good of humanity
For the greater good of humanity how the hell
how the hell you gonna have HueManny-T
How the hell you gonna have HueManny-T written on your grave stone ?
On your grave stone ill tag my tag next to the words in loving memory
Next to the words in loving memory so your family
So your family can remember me but truthfully
Truthfully i'm done with you and the jokes
I'm done with you and the jokes because the joke is
The joke is J-Justice you the joke
You the joke J-Justice
You the joke J-Justice as your hailed by the kids
Your hailed by the kids and even their dads
Your hailed by the kids and even their dads even their moms
Your hailed by the kids and even their dads even thier moms even their dads mistresses
Your hailed by the kids but they don't even know who J-Justice really really is
They don't even know who J-Justice really really is so you tell me J-Justice
You tell me J-Justice where the justice really really is?
Where the justice really really is in matter of fact tell me
In matter of fact tell me J-Justice where J-Justice really really lives?
Tell me where J-Justice really really lives so I can live out your nightmares J-Justice
Live out your nightmares J-Justice and sit outside J-Justice's crib
Sit outside J-Justices's crib to live out my dreams J-Justice
To live out my dreams J-Justice to show you J-Justice what justice really really is
To show you J-Justice what justice really really is by introducing your face to my fists
By introducing your face to my fists to adjust your lips
To adjust your lips to show you what the real world really really is
To show you what the real world really really is with all its injustices
With all its injustices and with all the starving kids
All the starving kids and with all the people that are left homeless
With all the people that are left homeless and all the the people that are left hopeless
All the people that are left hopeless and all the people that are left hoping
All the people that are left hoping and all the people that are left moping
All the people that are left, moping, hoping, hoping hopeless, hopeless, homeless and homeless
Homeless and let me not forget the starving kids J-Justice
J-Justice there Just kids
Just kids J-Justice so tell me where is the Justice J-Justice?
J-Justice tell me whats the justice league to the injustice league J-Justice?
J-Justice tell me in matter of fact tell the crowd what Justice is J-Justice?
